Request for Proposals for
Northborough Phase I Downtown Streetscape Improvement Project
The Town of Northborough, Massachusetts solicits proposals for professional design and engineering services for streetscape improvements in Downtown Northborough. All respondents are required to respond in written form to the Request for Proposal (RFP) and to submit documentation substantiating their qualifications to perform the services required. The basic tasks associated with this work are community outreach, development of an existing conditions plan, preliminary design, and final design, permitting, preparation of contract documents, and bid assistance. Anticipated project cost is $200,000+.
The RFP documents may be obtained via the town’s website at: https://www.town.northborough.ma.us/bids. Questions concerning this RFP shall be submitted in writing to: Laurie Connors, Planning Director, Town Offices, 63 Main Street, Northborough, MA 01532 or via email to lconnors@town.northborough.ma.us by 12:00PM on July 19, 2024. Written responses to questions will be posted to the town’s website on or before July 24, 2024 at: https://www.town.northborough.ma.us/bids.
Sealed proposals shall be received by the Town Administrator’s Office, 6 Main Street, Northborough 01532 on or before 12:00 PM, Wednesday, August 7, 2024.
Proposals delivered after the appointed time and date will not be considered. This RFP shall be governed by the requirements of MGL Chapter 30B, the Uniform Procurement Act. The Town reserves the right to reject any and all proposals as determined to be in the best interests of the Town and to waive minor informalities.
